We used this resource a bit to get some information about the Bullis Family. This is also where we found some diaries from one of the Bullis family members.
“Lt. John Bullis.” National Parks Service, U.S. Department of the Interior, https://www.nps.gov/amis/learn/historyculture/bullis.htm.
This website gave us some information about John Bullis that we did not learn from Mr. Darrow. We also chose to take a picture from this website.
There were three people who helped us a lot during our research.
Mrs. L Braun - Mrs. Braun showed us all of the items that were moved from the Bullis House and donated to the town. She taught us about primary source documents.
Mr. R Darrow - Mr. Darrow has spent a lot of his time researching about the Bullis family. He shared his knowledge with us and the beautiful art that he has created.
Mr. J Henley - Mr. Henley gave us tours of the Bullis House and tours of his land. It was interesting to see some of the items his children found over the years from living there.
