The motor vehicle was only created in 1886 so until then the only means of transportation were foot or wagon/carriage so these were very important for weary citizens. (1)
Farm animals were important for chores such as oxen making the lines for seeds to go into, goats and sheep were good for eating the weeds and ivy, horses were also good at pulling horse drawn wagon/carriage. (2)
Cigars were used to relax people but many people smoked them for the taste of the smoke. (3)
Coca Cola was a popular drink in the 1840s. Many loved it for its strong taste. (4)
It is clear that young children would be the ones interested in toys this is one of the toys they would of been bought. (5)
During the Civil War officers used handguns. There were six spots to load bullets. John Lapham Bullis used it because he was a officer. (6)
The fashion was very different then what we all wear now. Did you know that the girls wore dresses all the time? (8)
