How does my child access Google Classroom?
If your teacher is using Google Classroom to communicate with their students, you will need your student's Palliser Google account (firstname.lastname@prs26.ca) to login. Google Classroom can be accessed by visiting http://classroom.google.com.
How does my child access the Google extensions Palliser pays for?
Your student's Palliser Google account (firstname.lastname@prs26.ca) will gain them access to some additional tools within Chrome (specifically Read&Write and Equatio from Texthelp). It is important that your student is logged into the Chromebook or Google Chrome Profile with the Palliser account. This is not the same as logging into their account through the webpage.
On a Chromebook - ensure that your student is logging (from the login screen) with their Palliser Google account.
On a Windows or Mac computer:
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click Profile (silhouette in the top right corner).
Sign in to your Google Account.
If you want to sync your info across all your devices, click Turn on sync Turn on (this will sync all of their previously installed Palliser apps an extensions with this profile).
