All PALCS employees may make changes to their current benefit elections during open enrollment, which occurs in September of each year for October 1 effective date.
If an employee should have a Qualifying Life Event at any point during the year, the employee has 31 days to notify George Stulak (Benefits Administrator) of any requested changes to their current elected benefits.
Qualifying life events include:
Marriage
New baby
Your spouse is going through open enrollment at their workplace and you want to remove your spouse from your insurance
You are turning 26 years old and are losing insurance through a parent
Divorce
Death of dependent
Change in work status from PT to FT
