Science

This year the students will be focusing on Earth Science, Physical Science, and Life Science. For each unit, homework will be assigned as needed and projects will be assigned with plenty of time in advance. Students will be conducting activities and labs throughout the year. Grades will be weighted as:

Writing

This year the students will be focusing on vocabulary words and Latin Roots while utilizing them through essays and creative writing. They will have classwork and homework which includes:

Cornell Notes for each vocabulary word, workbook pages for those words, chapter tests, Latin Root vocabulary, reading comprehension
packets, informative and argumentative essays, and creative writing assignments.
