ADJUSTING THE SETTINGS
Step #1
Adjusting your settings in Google Classroom is not too difficult. You are able to control the types of notifications you receive and from what classes. View the video below to learn about your notification settings.
Now, even though you have some control here, there are certain settings that MUST remain on. You MUST have the following notifications enabled:
Receive Email Notifications
Private Comments On Work
Returned Work and Grades From Teacher
I STRONGLY suggest that you also have notifications turned on for "Due Date Reminders For Your Work" and notifications from ALL classes needs to be enabled.

Go into your Google Classroom settings and make any necessary adjustments.
*Remember, You MUST have the following notifications enabled:

Returned Work and Grades From Teacher

Upload the screenshot to your school Google Drive

In Google Classroom you can personalize your account by adding a profile picture. You can do that by:
Clicking on the 3 bars in the top left-hand corner
Select "Settings"
Click on "Profile" next to the grey icon to upload an image of your choice

Following the instructions in the video above, add a profile picture. It does not need to be a picture of you, but a picture of something that represents you (ex. animal, flower, Bitmoji).
*The picture you choose MUST be appropriate for our Christian school setting (ex. no violence or crass words)
