CMEA (Connecticut Music Educators Association) Region/All-State auditions provide students with the opportunity to receive a professional evaluation of their performance skills within their region in the state. This year auditions will be virtual. Regardless of placement into festival or not, the audition is a great experience to prepare and perform classical literature and receive feedback from experienced judges. *Participation is a requirement of honors students.

ALTO/BASS Sebben, crudele (medium low book) or O Rest in the Lord

Information for 2023-24 school year:

The All-State Festival audition includes Scales, Sight Reading and Gloria from Harmoniemesse by Haydn, ed. Liebergen for SATB, singing your voice part against the recording of the other three voice parts. (ex: if you are an Alto, you will record singing with the STB audio)  You will sing the same voice part as you did for your Southern Region Audition.
