Choral
Songbird Award
The Songbird Award is awarded to a student who exhibits outstanding dedication, effort, attitude and service in the Oxford High School Choral Program.
Outstanding Senior Vocalist Award
The Outstanding Senior Vocalist Award is awarded to a senior student whose musicality is superior. The recipient of this award has demonstrated the ability to pick up music with ease, possesses consistent strong vocal technique, and is a vocal model for others. The certificate states, "for outstanding leadership, musicianship and vocal achievement in the Oxford High School Choral Program".
Choral Director's Award
Choral Director’s Award is given to a student who has shown a great deal of growth – both musical and personal – during the years that they were involved in the vocal music program. The recipient of this award will have demonstrated personal initiative and dedication, an excellent work ethic, along with a willingness to give of themselves in order to better the vocal music program. While demonstrating these criteria, this student will also be a positive role model and will remain resolute in his or her goals.
National School Choral Award
The National School Choral Award is the highest honor for a high school choral performer. This award, given at high schools across the United States, recognizes the dedication and musical achievement of the top choral student in a given vocal music program. The certificate reads, "in recognition of singular merit, ability, and achivement, of outstanding contributions to the success of the school vocal program, and an unusual degree of loyalty, cooperation and high qualities of conduct, by the general consent of the music faculty, school officials, and others"

The First Chair Award is given to the principal players in each section.
Louis Armstrong Jazz Award
The Louis Armstrong Jazz Award is given to a student to honor an outstanding jazz musician at each high school who exhibits superior dedication, musicianship, and creativity. Louis Armstrong was the epitome of jazz as a trumpeter, singer, and improviser. His imagination and phenomenal skill dazzeled audiences worldwide and revolutionized jazz.
John Philip Sousa Award
The John Philip Sousa Award is the gold standard for high school band students and recognizes superior musician and dedication. The award is presented to the top students in the band program for outstanding achievement and interest in instrumental music, for singular merit in loyalty and cooperation, and for displaying those high qualities of conduct that school instrumental music requires.

The Band Director's Award honors outstanding members of the high school band.
