This unit delves into the importance of maintaining an open mind. It emphasizes the significance of self-discovery and expression through the exploration of diverse ideas, values, and cultural perspectives.
* We are engaging in reflective practices that encourage us to examine our own beliefs while acknowledging and appreciating the beliefs of others.
* We are also celebrating the diversity of viewpoints that exist in our world.
Through active exploration and discovery, we can broaden our understanding of different ways of life and thinking, fostering a sense of empathy and respect for all.
Each IB unit contains three or four lines of inquiry.
The lines of inquiry clarify the central idea and define the scope of the inquiry.
These contributing aspects of the central idea extend the inquiry, give focus to students' research, and deepen students' understanding.
