In this unit, we learned about how people explored Europe and found what we now call North America. As part of this unit, we researched different European Explorers to see why everyone was exploring. Students created their own Trading cards to present their research. While conducting their research, students searched for information about where they explored, interesting facts, their greatest accomplishments, who sponsored their exploration, the number of voyages they did, and the purpose of their voyages.
