MUST DO:

Write about an adventure that Bradley's toys go on.
Think about:
The location - where will they go?
The characters - who will be going on the adventure?
Action - what happens on their adventure? Do they encounter a problem?
Object - will they take anything on their adventure with them?
Describing words: adjectives, verbs and adverbs help to make your writing more interesting.

CAN DO:
Complete the must do activity before choosing one of the following activities to complete:
Create a list of topics from Bradley’s list and then group them into categories. What do you notice? Why do you think he has these clear categories?
Writing: How would you describe Bradley in this chapter?
Vocabulary: recess, military, hopscotch, barged, grenades, befuddled, mismatch.
Design a new gold star for Bradley
Design a new T-shirt for Carla
Writing: Predict what the story “My Parents Didn’t Steal an Elephant” will be about.
Create a character description of Jeff using a picture of Jeff in the middle, on one side write all the good qualities Jeff had when Bradley first met him and on the other side write who Jeff is now.
