Snowflakes

Instructions:
Instructions:
- Discuss the setting of the snowstorm in our story.
- What was the snowstorm like for the animals?
- How do you think Kona felt during the snowstorm?
- Ask students to share a personal snowstorm experience.
- Check out the 'Snowflakes' Slides below.
- Activity - Create our own snowstorm at OVES!
- Students will create their very own snowflake to add to our school mural.
Discuss how no two snowflakes are ever identical. They are all unique!
- Pass out the snowflake sheets from your packet.
Students will need scissors and a pencil.
- Students should fill in their name on the snowflake when they've completed their cutting.
If you have time, snap a photograph of your class holding up their completed snowflakes and send it to the Reading Team!
- Completed snowflake sheets can be put in the mailroom submission box.
We can't wait to see your unique snowflakes!
