Stay Connected!
Stay Connected!
We are wired to connect with others! This doesn't mean that you have to go 100% extrovert and start talking to everyone you see (although some of us are okay with that!). Connection is a behavior AND a feeling. We desire connection because relationships with others increase our confidence and self-esteem. Connections make us feel important, worthy, and good enough. We are motivated by those feelings to connect with others to form relationships. When we are not connected.... well, you can imagine how that may feel. Staying connected is going to support our ability to take care of ourselves. You are not alone. Below are just a few ideas of how you can stay connected with others.
