And more! In my more than two decades in public education (from Nationally Board Certified teacher, to district Digital Learning Coordinator, to regional Digital Learning Consultant and university instructor), I've had practical, pragmatic experience with how edtech intersects with PBLs, Portraits of a Learner, blended learning, digital citizenship, game-based learning, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and other pedagogies.
I've been a University of Louisville part-time lecturer since 2025, currently teaching four graduate-level, virtual, asynchronous classes for the College of Education and Human Development throughout the year. Teaching, no matter what edtech tools are used or how transformational the approach, needs to be grounded in best practice. Treat these syllabi excerpts from a few of my UL classes as a window into my topics of expertise. Let's work together to make instruction more vibrant!
