Any new agency that wishes to provide after-school services can find information about the application process below.
What is an RFQ? An RFQ (Request for Qualifications) is a qualifications-based selection process. It is a request by OUSD Dept. of Expanded Learning for non-profit organizations to submit their qualifications to be considered the primary contractor/provider of district school-site based after-school program services.
What is a Bidders Conference? A Bidders conference is a meeting that the Dept. Of Expanded Learning, After-school Program Office will schedule upon releasing the 2019-2022 RFQ. The Bidders conference is designed to give interested and eligible non-profit organizations the opportunity to ask questions regarding the application process for providing after-school programs. This event will provide organizations a better understanding if they are interested in applying and also if their Agency is qualified to navigate the work with fidelity.
Oakland Unified School District invites interested non-profit organizations to respond with their qualifications to become an After-School Lead Agency. Selected agencies will design, plan, and coordinate effective high-quality after-school programming that supports and aligns with OUSD’s goal to ensure that every student graduates college, career, and community ready.
