Mrs. Rogers has been the Library Technician at Montera Middle School since 2016. In her life before libraries, she was a college textbook editor, a stay-at-home mother, and a public school volunteer (yes -- in libraries!).

She has a hard time naming a favorite book, but when she was in middle school, her favorite book was A Wrinkle in Time. It makes her happy to know that students are still enjoying it! After years of reading books with just words, she's learning to read graphic novels and manga. She can't wait to read Chi's Sweet Home, but it keeps getting checked out by students!

When she's not working in the library, where her favorite part of the job is talking to the amazing Montera students, she likes to hang out with her family, cook, and ride her bicycle in the beautiful Oakland hills.
