The Expanded Learning Office's Enrichment Initiatives are funded by the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, which provides funding for out-of-school-time (afterschool and enrichment) programs for transitional kindergarten through sixth grade.  ELO-P is state-level funding, unique to California, and is intended specifically to create and/or support programs that “do not replicate learning activities in the regular school day and school year.”
