This section will be continually updated with resources for classroom instruction, including forthcoming locally developed curriculum, as well as information on published curriculum, and assessment tools.
Identifying appropriate assessments to monitor the progress of newcomers and inform instruction is an ongoing challenge. We hope to grow the number of resources here moving forward. (If you are looking for intake assessments, please visit the Welcoming page.)
While OUSD does not have an officially adopted curriculum specifically for newcomers, an extensive array of supplemental curricular materials are in use across the district.
