Introducing Dug’s Discovery Den – an interactive approach for our youngest learners created by Education Scotland.
Bookbug Sessions are free events for children aged 0-5 years and their mums, dads and carers. Sessions last around 30 minutes and include songs, rhymes and a story. You can expect a warm reception at your local Bookbug Session. Everyone is welcome!
Going to a Bookbug Session is a great way for families to spend time bonding with each other and meeting other families in their local area. Bookbug Sessions can also help to build children’s social skills and support their speech and language development. Most importantly, Bookbug Sessions are fun!
Welcome to West Dunbartonshire Libraries Early Years Literature Festival "Tales For Tots". Normally held in our local libraries this year the festival is all virtual. Here you will find some fantastic videos made by Authors talking about their books and how they made them. They have probably written some of your favourite books!
As well as our projects available from WDC, this website by 'ABC Does' has been created by a wonderful, international community of Early Years practitioners who have a wealth of knowledge and a bank of ideas and activities. The activities available are fun and active to enjoy completing with children.
