Welcome to our Communication Friendly Page. Here you will find inclusive lessons and projects that have been created by our teachers that are easy to access for all our learners. Many of the lessons include Makaton and Communication Friendly Symbols.

A problem based learning project where you will be giving your own ideas about the best school for you and learning lots about how buildings are made.
This project has 9 lessons based on the book 'The 13-Storey Treehouse' by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton. These lessons will encourage you to use your reading strategies and develop your imagination with a variety of creative writing and artistic projects.
These slides have different activities which are all tactile, using fine and gross motor skills, they also help develop literacy and numeracy. Each slide will say what you need for the activity, the steps to work through it and some pictures or video to help you along the way! There are pictures of the documents you will need for each activity on the slides - just click on the picture and you will be able to download the file.
