Childsmile – improving the oral health of children in Scotland

Childsmile is reducing inequalities in oral health and ensuring access to dental services 

for every child across the country.

What Childsmile provides in school: 

Every P1 and P2 pupil is eligible to be offered: 

• free daily supervised toothbrushing within school

• free dental packs, which contain a toothbrush, toothpaste of at least 1000 parts per million (ppm) fluoride

• oral health education for your child
