A Message from Mrs Levens:
I just want to congratulate you and your family as your child received the Sacrament of Confirmation. The children were outstanding and I was very proud of them. As usual they were a credit to the school and their families.
It was an emotional night but I feel honoured to be part of your child’s Sacramental Journey – it is one of the highlights of my job and one which I shall miss dearly.
Mrs Levens

On our return to school after Christmas, pupils and staff continued our tradition of marking the Feast of the Epiphany by blessing our school.
Epiphany, also known as 'Little Christmas', is the feast that celebrates the arrival of the Three Magi who had come to worship the Christ Child shortly after his birth (Matthew 2:1–12).
20 † C † M † B † 25
The first set of numbers and the last refers to the current year. The letters stand for the Three Magi: Caspar, Balthasar and Melchior. They also represent the three-word Latin blessing: Christus mansionem benedicat, which means, “May Christ bless this house."
The three crosses refer to the Blessed Trinity.
Our P6/7 SCIAF project raised the amazing sum of £300! Thanks to the children, staff, parents and carers who purchased the eye-catching cribs and Christmas decorations. Thanks, also, to Mr. Rainey for his guidance and expertise!
It's a wonderful day when you discover the person you are writing about is in another part of the school writing about you!

We grow old because we stop playing.
Many of our children, over the past few months, have developed their knowledge and skills working with Craig from Operation Play Outdoors ... at the same time as growing as young people they've had loads of fun! Thanks Craig

It's wonderful to see so many of our upper school pupils continuing the St. Ronan's tradition. We're looking forward to watching and hearing how you progress this year. 🎶
Much fun was had, and effort given, at the recent Balloch Park Cross Country. What we lacked in medals we made up for with enthusiasm! It was a fantastic morning ...
