We are very much looking forward to welcoming our new Primary 1 children to Aitkenbar Primary in August 2026.

We look forward to working together with you to support your child at this important stage of their school life, and beyond.  In the meantime, we hope this website will be helpful to you and your child - to help get them prepared and ready for school in August. 

Our Early Learning to Primary 1 Transition Programme is well underway with lots of opportunities for us to get to know your child and for them to get to know our staff and school building.

School begins on Monday 17th August 2026.  

Please bring your child to the playground at 9.30am on the first day.
