If we don’t have much on the calendar at the moment, that doesn’t mean there’s nothing coming up! Below are some regularly recurring LGBT events, hosted by OPA and other LGBT community members. The best way to keep up with events is to follow us on Instagram and Facebook to get updates and reminders. But here are some recurring events we host or attend that you can keep in mind!

Tender Gender Yoga (BI-Monthly)

Sponsored by the Gender Wellness Center.

Drag Show: A Night with Natalie (Monthly)

A Drag Show hosted by Natalie Taylor At the Black Oak Tavern in Oneonta.

Pridefest in Oneonta (First Saturday in June)

Hosted by OPA. FREE! Always held on the first Saturday in June in Oneonta!
Vendors, please pencil us in for that date!

Pride Prom (Late June)

Usually held on the last Saturday in June in Oneonta at Foothills. 18+ only.

OPA Family Picnic (July or August)

Hosted by OPA. Usually held in July or August at Gilbert Lake.

Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk (September)

Held in September for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
OPA walks for Team Kota, in honor of our friend Kota Flood.

Transgender Day of Remembrance (November)

OPA organizes a Transgender Day of Remembrance vigil on November 20th in Oneonta, NY.
Trans Day of Remembrance is observed on November 20th, however we may have a vigil on a different day.
(Previously held at SUNY Oneonta, the UU Church and the Green Earth.)
