DRAWING

One thing you can do whilst home is to spend time DRAWING. The more you draw the better you will become. You may start up your own visual diary where you can draw whatever you choose, in what ever style you like. This will develop your control of the pencil and confidence. Here are some ideas for self directed drawing:

Observational drawing - this means draw from LOOKING. You may choose to draw objects, people, pets, your house, or landscapes.
Illustrational drawing - this means adding different styles ie manga, comic style, expressive, figurative, imaginative.
Perspective drawing - you may wish to draw like an architect. Then look at drawing using perspetive rules, guide lines and a light pencil to design anything 3D - from your dream house to a full utopian city!
Expressive drawing - patterns and abstract shapes can be a great way to develop some new ideas.

If you are interested in learning a specific technique let me know. I also encourage you to look at different websites and pinterest for amazing drawings, to see techniques and ideas.
