Sign into Starfish using your Laker Net ID (all text before the @ symbol in your campus email) and password. You may also use this direct link to book with me; please note that this will only work if I am your assigned advisor (Major or AP) or professor. If you do not fall into these categories, please send me an email.
When you schedule an appointment with me, I will expect to begin your appointment right at the time selected. You can always reschedule in Starfish or email me if something comes up last minute so that I can offer the time slot to your peers if you will not be attending. Please be punctual, and be mindful not to schedule an appointment that overlaps with any of your class times. If I see that you scheduled an appointment during class time, I will cancel it.
First, make sure that you have clicked into next week, too. If we are towards the end of a week I may be booked up, and Starfish will only show you this week's availability. If that still does not work for you, send me an email explaining this along with several days and times that work for you to meet so I can squeeze you in! I'll always do my best to make time for you.
Sign into myOswego > click on the Academics tab > view Student Records card > click on the Request Declaration/Change of Major/Minor link
There will be dropdown menus with majors/minors to choose from. Please read carefully so that you are not accidentally changing a major/minor if you are only planning to declare or vice versa. The page may have you confirm your choice multiple times.
You'll know your request is official when you receive an email from the Registrar's Office. This could take several days as the request requires both Primary Advisor and Department Advisement Coordinator approval. It is good practice to email the Advisement Coordinator when you make a request; their information, along with the status if your request, will be viewable by following the above instructions.
If you are a first-semester student (started in Spring 2026), you will start receiving communication from me about Fall 2026 registration in March 2026. Please refer to the step-by-step instructions provided in my emails and subsequent reminders.
If you are a readmitting student please see my registration tab and connect with your assigned advisor.
Sign into myOswego > click on the Academics card > view the Student Records card > click on the Student Profile link > click on the Student Schedule tab below your ID photo.

Your Oswego email address is automatically entered, while I recommend using your Oswego account, you can also send the invite to a person gmail. Click send.
Go to your Oswego email address and download the ics file at the bottom of the email (do not just accept invite as this will only save one class), save to computer.
Go to Google Calendar webpage (make sure it is the correct account), click on the three dots beside your calendar name (likely your own name), click on settings and sharing, near the top left of the next webpage click on import & export, click on select file from your computer and choose the ics file that you downloaded in step 4. Click on import. You will be notified if the courses were successfully uploaded.
Scroll over to a week where you have classes to make sure this worked. Please note that this does not account for days where we do not have classes like holidays or breaks. Refer to the College Calendar for the most up to date information.
Instructional video. The technology looks different here, but the process is the same.
AP test scores are not automatically sent to SUNY Oswego, and high school counselors are not able to send these in for you.
We accept AP test scores of 3-5 for college credit. Unfortunately we are not able to give college credit for scores lower than 3. You need to order your test score report from College Board and have them sent to Oswego.
Incoming students (have not yet attended classes): have the score report sent to Oswego Admissions, if possible, otherwise Registrar's Office is ok.
Current students (have attended classes): have the score report sent to the Oswego Registrar's Office.
Do not send your score reports to me or yourself to forward to Admissions/Registrar; you will have to order another report.
College transcripts are not automatically sent to SUNY Oswego, and high school counselors are not able to send these in for you.
Please sign into Parchment or create an account, and select which institution(s) you have previously attended (whether as a matriculated student, through dual enrolment or summer courses etc.) and have them sent directly to Oswego.

I strongly recommend signing up for NY alerts to ensure that you are receiving prompt communication about emergencies, like class cancellations or changes due to weather.
You can sign up through myOswego. On the Personal Information card, there is a link at the bottom called "Emergency Alert Contact Information (NY-ALERT)" that will allow you to sign up.
