FERPA is a federal law that you are protected by (yes, even if you are younger than 18), and I am bound by. I cannot discuss your grades or any part of your academic record with stakeholders outside of your success network at this institution.
This means that I cannot share with;
Parents/guardians
Siblings
Friends
Family members etc.
You can share this information with whoever you'd like; I cannot share on your behalf, even if you tell me to.
If you would like someone to have access to your information, you can grant them proxy access where you will choose what kind of information they will have access to. The hyperlinked webpage explains how to do this.
Please note that granting someone proxy access, or signing FERPA forms with another department or office does not allow me to discuss your information with them.
