Academic Probation

Are you on Academic Probation (AP) this Spring (2026)? 

I have sent out communication about your next steps- please check your email. Over the break, you should have completed your self-evaluation (in the students surveys tab of Starfish, due 1/9/2026) and created your success plan with me via zoom. If you have not, you should reach out to me right away.

Unsure of your Academic Standing?

Sign into myOswego > click on the Academics tab > view the Student Records card > click on the Student Profile Link. Below your name and ID number, you will see your Academic Standing. Note that if you were readmitted or reinstated after being disqualified, your standing will remain "Academic Disqualification" until you complete the semester as academic standing is determined after final grades roll. 

Spring 2026 AP outline/important dates

• Meeting #1 due by 2/4/2026

• Last day to add a semester course 2/4/2026

• Last day to drop a semester course 2/13/2026; withdraw period begins

• Midterm grades posted 3/27/2026 (we should review these together in meeting 2)

• Meeting #2 due by 4/3/2026

• Meeting #3 due by 5/1/2026

• Review your individual success plan for additional items that may be required 

  • All AP students must maintain satisfactory attendance in all classes

  • All AP students must earn 12 credits and a minimum 2.0 GPA (see below links for more info)

• Last day of classes 5/8/2026; last day to withdraw from semester course 

As a reminder, not complying with (or not creating) your success plan will result in you being marked off plan. Here are some helpful links to avoid this:
