Welcome! I feel so blessed to get the opportunity to help students communicate. I was introduced to this amazing career my freshman year of college at Augustana College is Rock Island, Illinois. I was assigned a service learning project in the field of speech language pathology and loved every second. I instantly changed my major and haven't looked back. I am so passionate about all students having the ability to effectively and efficiently communicate their wants, needs, and ideas!
I graduated from Augustana College in 2010 with my bachelors in communication disorders and went to Truman University in Kirksville, Missouri for graduate school. I graduated from Truman University in Winter of 2011 with my masters in communication disorders. I moved to California right after graduation and worked with an agency for a couple years. I started at Santa Margarita in 2013 and feel blessed I have been a Mustang for over 10 years. It's such a wonderful school.
I am originally from the midwest. I was born and raised in Burlington, Iowa. I met my husband, Tyler, our freshman year of college. Tyler works as a laboratory product manager at Helix in San Diego. We live in San Marcos with our boys: William (born in November 2020) and James (born in September 2023). I love spending time with family (especially outside), eating ice cream, and drinking coffee.
I am grateful for the opportunity to work with your child.
