Dance III offers the advanced dance student a more in depth study of the following dance forms:  jazz, modern, ballet, musical theater, hip hop, and contemporary.  A strong emphasis is placed on dance performances and choreography and students have many opportunities for performing both at school and for the community. Students will be thoroughly involved with the production of the Homecoming Half-Time Show in October, ECDC show in January, and the Dance II/III show in May.  Expectations of student behavior, effort, achievement, and performance are very high.

Dance III is open to any 9-12 grader through skills assessment only.  All 9th graders are expected to be enrolled in Applied Fitness Concepts simultaneously.  Dance III can be taken for Physical Education or Visual/Performing Arts Credit.
