I am honored to serve as the School Counselor at May Roberts Primary. I have worked in
education for more than 20 years and hold a Master’s degree in Education as well as a
Master’s degree in School Counseling. I am passionate about supporting students
academically, socially, emotionally, and in their overall development as a confident and
successful learner.

Our counseling program is guided by the American School Counselor Association
National Model and our district standards and priorities. My goal is to provide a safe,
supportive, and welcoming environment where every student feels known, valued, and
encouraged to grow.

Counseling Services

Individual counseling sessions to provide students with support, encouragement,
problem-solving skills, self-awareness, and strategies for navigating challenges.

Classroom guidance lessons focused on social-emotional learning, academic success,
relationships, self-awareness, and other skills that help students thrive at school.

504 Case Management, including coordination and support to ensure students receive
appropriate accommodations and services.

Collaboration with students, families, teachers, and other school staff to support student
success.

Schools and Families: A Team

I believe that schools and families are strongest when we work together as a team. Every
child is unique, and the partnership between school and home is an important part of
helping students feel successful, supported, and connected.
