Remote Learning Days

On a remote learning day Mrs. Ferry will invite all of the RTi students to an open google meet for the morning hours of 8-12. Students can join the meet if they need any assistance. Afternoon hours will be reserved for one on one meets with students who want extra help. The Google Meet invite will come in the form of an email from Mrs. Ferry at 8:00 am.

How to Access Google Meet Meetings

Students can access meetings either through their school gmail or google calendar.

1. Open gmail from Mrs. Ferry OR click on the scheduled meeting in their Google calendar. (Finding Google Calendar: Click on the small blue square in the top right corner of the gmail page (It's in a small sidebar). Once open, make the calendar full screen by clicking on the the square that has a diagonal arrow coming out of it.) Here a student can see ALL scheduled meetings they have been invited to attend by all their teachers and all their online assignments due dates.)

2. Now click on the words ¨Join Google Meet" (blue).

3. Options to turn camera and mic are available then click ¨Join¨.

4. If Mrs. Ferry has not yet joined the meeting the student may not be able to join the meeting.
