Project Timeline

Timeline Description

This project is intended to create a new highly-accurate and precise hinge monitoring system that will replace the ones currently in use by heads-up displays in aircraft for Collins Aerospace. The project will involve a collaboration of electrical engineering and computer science between the main design group at Oregon State University and the project clients at Collins Aerospace.

This year long project will be split up into three main parts over the course of the project timeline. The first section, Fall Term, will include the initial research and part testing for the main device. The second section, Winter Term, will include designing, testing, and prototyping the main device. The third section, Spring Term, will include the final testing, documentation and presentation of the project. The following is a visual representation of the expected timeline for the project.
