This is my eleventh year teaching in the Oregon School District and I couldn't be more excited!! This year I will be teaching math.  I am originally from Minnesota, where I graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary/Middle Education and a minor in Mathematics. I live in McFarland with my husband and dog Maci, where I enjoy baking and cooking, sewing and quilting,  as well as gardening and canning.  I love to travel, go hiking, biking, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

I have been teaching  5th or 6th graders for more than 30 years  - Wow! The time flies when you are having fun as they say! I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology from UW-Eau Claire and worked in a science lab for a few years before going back to school for a teaching degree from UW-Madison. I love working in education and teaching students at this grade level. I live in Verona with my dog, Harvey, and am blessed to have two grown sons who live close by in Madison. My oldest son just got married this August so it has been a busy and joyous summer for me.  I enjoy hiking, refinishing old furniture, playing board games,  reading, and cheering on our fabulous  Wisconsin sports teams (Bucks, Packers, Badgers, Brewers).  We are going to have such an amazing year in 6th grade!!

This is my second year in the Oregon School District! Before OSD, I earned my Middle Level Education degree from UW-Platteville.  I taught 5th grade in the Verona Area School District for 2 years. I am one of the many alumni (OHS 2015 Grad) who have came back to this district to become an educator! This year, I will be teaching Science and Social Studies. I also serve as the JV2 baseball coach here at Oregon. This spring will be my 4th year coaching at that level!

I love playing pickleball, golf, and staying active. I love watching my sports teams (Badgers, Brewers, and Bucks) and supporting OHS athletics!
