Welcome to ASCEND DECA at Oregon Charter Academy! We are a student-driven organization where students explore their interests, develop real-world skills, build connections, and prepare for college, careers, and beyond.

At ASCEND DECA, students don’t just learn about leadership, business, and careers, they put their skills and interests into action.

If you enjoy classes or activities focused on business, accounting, marketing, social media, sports management, graphic design, web design, hospitality and tourism, foods, entrepreneurship, or project management, DECA is a great place to apply what you're learning, explore your interests, and grow your skills.

And you don't have to know exactly what you want to do yet. DECA is also a place to try something new, discover your strengths, and find opportunities you may not have considered before.

Our members compete in DECA events, take on leadership roles, lead chapter and community projects, develop financial literacy and career-readiness initiatives, and operate ORCA Outfitters, our student-run school store. Along the way, they collaborate, solve problems, create, communicate, build confidence, and turn their ideas into real experiences.
