Lux was the President for ORCA's inaugural year of DECA. Their goal was to master communication and marketing to excel at business competitions before graduating. Lux was involved in ASCEND's Hospitality and Tourism pathway. In addition to DECA, they were the Public Relations Officer for Student Government, the NHS Secretary, the Secretary for Breakfast Club, a designer for the HS yearbook, a member of NTHS, and a competitor for Poetry Out Loud.
Their legacy lies in Ascend DECA's Mental Health initiatives like the Art for Well-Being Calendar and earning the honor of the Emerging Leader Award.
Luis was the Vice President of Finance for DECA's innagural year. He attended ORCA for seven years. His ultimate goal is to become an investment banker and to develop skills in analysis and strategic decision-making. He was in the ASCEND Business & Management pathway and was a club participant in Military Leadership and 1st Responders club.
Julie was the Vice President of Leadership for DECA's starting year. She aspires to open her own small book store and write a poetry book, combining her business aspirations with her love for reading and writing. She is most excited to learn about the success principles of business that she can take into future endeavors.
Sarah was the Vice President of DECA for the 2025-26 school year. Her future business goals are to be a part of any causes she finds important. She loves arts of all kinds, but painting and fine arts especially. In addition to ASCEND and DECA she was a member of the National Technical Honor Society and a Staff Writer for The Current.
