Summer programs are a great way to get a taste of college life on campus before college. There are various program lengths (from several days to several weeks) that provide a preview of life away from home. Like the number of colleges & universities, there are many summer programs to choose from. (NB: just because a program is hosted by X-university, it does not mean that X is the program host! Read the fine print.)

Summer programs are expensive, but can help hone students' interests and motivate them when they return to their studies. Look for scholarships offered by each program, and reach out to Jamie in the Futures Lounge (jkluckow@oisd.org) if you have questions or need help.

Below are examples of summer programs - most have application deadlines so be sure to plan ahead! You can also look through the 1700+ online FREE courses offered by top universities - but you'll have to stay focused!
