Join us for our next Founders Workshop Session, “The Public Founder: PR & Media Strategy for Business Growth” on May 19 from 5–6:30 pm CT.

Alumni founders will leverage their influence to build a sustainable and enduring venture. This workshop goes beyond basic marketing to focus on strategic media engagement. Using real-life priorities for their ventures, alumni will apply various media tools (ie, press releases, media appearances, etc.) to elevate and promote their brand.

Join  fellow DC Surge Alumni for the session "Landing Your Next Workshop Before You Have It " with Dr. Andre Samuels of Apogee Executive Coaching on May 20 from 6 - 8 pm ET. 

Experienced school leader and executive coach Dr. Andre Samuels will equip Surge alumni leaders with the frameworks, language, and relationships needed to grow into expanded roles before they pursue the next opportunity. 

This workshop invites leaders to take a step back and examine how they’re showing up today—and how that aligns with where they’re going. 

Join us for our first-ever Surge Alumni School's Out Virtual Happy Hour on June 11 from 6-7 pm CT. 

This virtual happy hour will bring together alumni across our growing network to celebrate the end of the school year in community. We will elevate alumni achievements, toast to a nourishing summer, and more! RSVP today for more details. 

2026 Mini Grant recipient, Roxanne Rose (OAK20) is hosting an in-person event, Songs of Liberation; Using Music as the Foundation of Strength and Resilience, for Oakland and Bay Area based Surge alumni on  June 6, from 12 - 3 pm PT. 

Alumni will reconnect, eat, drink, listen to music (bring your own  headphones) and talk all things music- the lessons, the stories and meaning for today.
