The Alumni Impact Team extends the Surge experience beyond fellowship by activating and sustaining a national network of alumni to grow as leaders, stay connected in community, and translate their leadership into collective action and systems-level change that improves outcomes for the communities they serve.

The goal is to support our community of leaders to maximize positive impact with their communities after they complete a Surge fellowship experience. We do so across four core Alumnihood pillars.
Our alumni offerings are the critical throughway to achieving sustainable systems-level outcomes beyond the individual.
Ongoing capacity building for Surge alumni beyond graduation to support personal and professional development.
Job transition coaching & support
Entry strategy & support for alumni taking on new roles and promotions
Financial support to present at and/or attend conferences and other educational experiences

We’ve built alumni digital spaces before, tested ideas, learned what worked (and what didn’t), and listened closely to how alumni actually want to engage. This version is a reflection of all of those stepping stones—and the many conversations, insights, and experiences that helped us get here.
At its core, the Surge Alumni Hub is meant to be a home base for alumni—a place to easily find the information they need, explore Alumni Impact programs in greater depth, and stay up to date on opportunities, timelines, applications, and upcoming events.
As alumni look to GROW, CONNECT, LEAD, and FUEL, the Surge Alumni Hub is the place to start.
