Who says we don’t do anything on a Sunday? 😉 Today, the Spartan Rivals squad made the drive out to Downey for the City of Stem: Esports Invitational!
After taking down Pomona High to secure our spot, we battled it out in the FINAL FOUR against Sunny Hills High and Warren High... and brought home the championship! 🥇🎮
The loot? Each starting player took home a trophy and a GameStop gift card (yeah, only the starters—slight bummer, we know 😅), BUT our program also scored $500 worth of new gaming supplies! Not too shabby for a Sunday. 💸
A massive THANK YOU to all the parents, guardians, and family members who made the trek to Downey to cheer us on and handle drop-offs. It takes a village! Huge shoutout for the donuts, and an extra special thanks to our very own Koi for the amazing brownies! 🍩🍫

Whether it’s the strategic chaos of Marvel Rivals or the high-speed intensity of Super Smash Bros, our teams are refreshed, recharged, and ready to dominate the arena.
