Provocation

Students used their "resources" (toothpicks and marshmallows) to create things they need to survive-- shelter, a way to get food, etc.

Grid

This grid of different California Native American tribes and how they used their natural resources to survive helped the students compare the different tribes and regions.

Research

Students worked together to research different aspects of the local Native American tribes.
