Experience/Education levels: With thirty years of broad and progressive law enforcement experience with the Anaheim Police Department, retired Lieutenant Rich LaRochelle served with substantial diversity of assignments as a Patrol and Field Training Officer, Detective/Investigator, Sergeant, and as a Lieutenant commanding multiple Divisions, Details, Units, and SWAT. Combining extensive experience and longevity, proven leadership, advanced education and training, and wide-ranging ancillary duties and project development, is uniquely to teach the CTE Public Service Pathway – Criminal Justice. Through his real-world experiences and ability to present true-life case studies in his series called “Felony Fridays” you will learn about real homicide cases and how they were solved using the latest in criminal justice techniques and technology.
Mr. LaRochelle holds a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice/Criminology from Arizona State University, a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management from University of LaVerne and an Associate of Arts Degree in Administration of Justice from Goldenwest College.
