On-demand videos - These correspond to the regular unit (not the on-demand unit). But, you can still use them as needed (absent students, students who need to review the lesson, frontloading, etc.)
Hands-On Investigations Videos - Playlist - takes you to YouTube playlist of all demos/experiments for the regular unit
Read-Aloud Videos - Read-Aloud Playlist - Takes you to YouTube playlist of all readers in the unit as a full video read aloud. Also available for Spanish.

The form to the right is where you can ask for a refurbishment of consumable materials for your Amplify Science Kits. We will do 2 supply refills per year - November and March.
We are going to be ordering Refill Kits from Amplify - these kits come with almost all the materials listed as consumable. There are some semi-consumable items (such as spoons and baggies) that could be used for 2-3 years but get worn down over time. Those items have also been listed. If there are items that are not on the list, please add them in the Comments area at the end and we will see if they can be ordered and get them to you.
Thank you for your patience as we make sure everyone gets what they need!
And a huge thank you to Kim Cabotaje at the Crescent Science Center to help make all this possible!
Any questions, email rgreenwald@orangeusd.org
Are you a new OUSD Teacher? Here is a link to the Amplify 101 Slideshow. There may be some other Amplify 101 opportunities in the future if you didn't get a chance to attend this fall. But, the best way to get used to Amplify, is really just to dive in and make it work for you. As always, if you need help, email me!

Amplify Book List: Here is a helpful spreadsheet with all the readers for each unit in each grade level.
Have you ever tried a Science Seminar? It's like a Socratic Seminar, where students are focused on scientific evidence, are encouraged to discuss the evidence, and work together to answer a question and explain a phenomenon. This is a time for the teacher to step out of the conversation and let the students take over (although you can be there for prompting!) Here are some resources from Amplify to help you out!
