For my Senior Project I am creating the first chapters of a full story. The story will focus on a cast of three main characters and nine secondary characters as they embark on perilous missions in a world devastated by an event known only as "The Collapse".
The story will be a science fantasy work, inspired by works such as "Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse" by Yoshimune Kouki, a dungeons and dragon campaign that I was apart of years ago, random ideas I bounced off my friends, and more.
The main purpose to this project is to learn the methodologies used in the creation of entire books. Primarily to further my own skills and knowledge in this field. And secondly in hopes of creating a story to share with the world as a way to give back to the community that had given me plenty of wonderful stories .Â

What led me to embark on this unholy crusade of imagination, trial and error, and horror inspired writing?
Four years ago, nine friends and acquaintances invited me to their online group, one created with the sole purpose of creating a single great story with our collective brainpower. Sadly the progress made was underwhelming to many, and the group disbanded after a year. Yet the concepts and ideas generated lived rent free in my mind, waiting to be used.
These ideas evolved and merged with new inspirations as I aged, slowly polishing the rough ore of the amalgamate creation of middle-school students into a promising ingot ready to be forged into a fine tale.
By creating this story I pay respects to the cumulative efforts of barely remembered acquaintances, former friends, and friends I've had the pleasure of staying friends with till this day.
