This is the first picture i took of the 940. its losing some clear coat but it has a wonderfull red paint
It all started about a year ago when my friend Justin, got his vovlo 240 for $900. then I didnt even know what that car could do and now after working as hard as he can all year for that car he has a buatifull 240 that makes 500hp. i don't plan on doing exactly what he's doing but it definitely started the inspiration. after than 3 of my other friends including my girlfriend, All, Got, Volvos. so I kind of knew I had to but I was way too picky. if I get a volvo it has to be a Red block, RWD, and the sedan. and I couldn't find anything I've been looking and looking.
finally I open facebook market place straight to a volvo 940 turbo sedan, listed for $300. i called him so fast and I told him I couldcome the next day with some cash it was a fight with me and 3 other people to get this car but I did it.
My plan is to swap the turbo and gain a little bit of WHP, weld the differential, new injectors, make a drifting grandmas car that I can bring to the track and just beat on.
this is the so called the volvo 240 behind the volvo 850 platnum. As you can see we have started to collect volvos so fair together we have a Volvo 240, 780, 850, 940, v70, and a xc70, ive been intrested in Volvos since i started watching my friend with his 240. he has done alot more tran i have and he will forsure beat me in a race when this is a little more put togethr
This is my 940 turbo. i am exstatic but also a little bummed heres why. since its a turbo modle i can upgrade the turbo, the injectors and a couple little things and be able to make alot of power. but than also since its a turbo model i have a lower compression ratio (8.7) the naturally aspriated makes (9.8) so no matter what i do do this car its not going to as fast as my friends 240.
