Mentor Thank You Note
Mentor Thank You Note
Dear Bob,
Last spring, when I approached you and Kyle about my senior project and that I wanted to do it about racing, you were all for it. You saw the passion I had for working on the race car and took me under your wing to help me succeed. My project wouldn't have been this interesting and fun without you.
You are the best teacher I have ever had. You never stop believing in me. You pushed me to succeed and not give up when things got tough. You pushed me out of my comfort zone to get me stronger.
I know, I made mistakes and that I am going to continue to make them. I never would have thought that I would be working on a race let alone driving one. You believed in me more than myself at times which is why you are a great leader.
You took the time to explain how to do something or show me how something works in a short amount of time when you could have just worked on the car and got it fixed and I understood what needed to be done. Which would have not happened a year ago. You never left me behind, you always made sure that I was doing the right things before you started working on what you needed to do. You made every second count which paid off 5 times last season (2021). I will see you in victory lane!
I have come a long way in a short amount of time and it's all because of you! I can't wait to see what this year's season (2022) brings and what the future holds. I know that working on the race car might not be in my future plans but racing will always be in my life no matter where life takes me. All the things I learn will forever be with me. Thank you again for supporting and believing in me.You are the best mentor I could ever ask for! Better yet, You are the best Uncle I could ever ask for!
Love,
Sarah McDonald
