This assignment is an example of one of the classes that we learned about. In this assignment the main objective was to explain tools of persuasion and how they were used when writing Enriques Journey. This assignment fit the overall unit as it helped further understand different writing tools that authors use in order to create their stories with feelings and bring sympathy towards the characters in the book. In this assignment I learned about how different tools of persuasion are used in order to create a story and how it can be interpreted by the readers. This assignment shows my understanding on tools of persuasion and how they are used in different styles of writing. This assignment represents important themes in the course as understanding the significance that different writing tools can create different feelings in the story. This assignment connects to the larger world as being able to understand the work behind a story or behind a book can led to a bigger understanding of what the author was trying to conclude when writing their story.

This assignment is example of rhetorical situations in books. The main objective of this assignment is to create a slideshow explaining the rhetorical situations that were found in Enriques Journey. This assignment fit into the overall unit as it was one of the very first assignments that had to be completed which opened the door to English 101 . After completing this assignment I learned about how different rhetorical situations can be used in a story to create feelings throughout the book. In this assignment what I found challenging was connecting the book with rhetorical situations as I was just starting to understand what it all meant.  I would improve this assignment by being more indepth with the examples and explaining them better , as well as being more detailed in my responses. If I had the chance to redo this assignment I would provided more examples that demonstrate my understanding.

This assignment shows my understanding on finding how rhetorical tools were used in different pieces of literature, as I was able to identify them. This assignment represents important themes in the course as understanding the significance of knowing how different writing tools can cause a different meaning throughout a piece of writing.

This assignment fit the overall unit as it strengthen our ability to write and allowed us to put the previous writing tools that were learned to the test in creating our own piece of literature. In this assignment I learned how to write a personal story and the process that it takes in order to make such a personal and meaningful story about a memory or powerful impact that occurred in ones life. This assignment shows my understanding on writing and how I can use tools and my previous knowledge to create a piece of writing that is unique and my own. In this assignment what I found challenging writing a essay in a short period of time because there was so much I wanted to include but didn't have enough time to complete it . I would improve this assignment by being timing myself better and better organizing my notes in order to write everything that I found in my research,

This assignment fit into the overall unit as it continued the discussion of unfairness of education throughout the United States  . After completing this assignment I learned about how students throughout the United States aren't given the same learning opportunities compared to other students in other states.  In this assignment what I found challenging is being able to answer the questions in a short period of time and doing it in a certain matter that would make sense and follow the rubric. I would improve this assignment by adding more information and being more informative about what I am talking about. I would also add more evidence and more examples in order to prove my point.
