In this assignment I did a lab report on how caffeine impacted a person's reaction time. In this following lab the results were that the different amount of caffeine does affect the reaction time of a person. The assignment fit into the unit as throughout the unit we were trying to figure out how different types of distractions can affect a persons reaction time. In this lab I learned that different types of actives such as even drinking a bit or a lot of coffee can cause dramatic changes to someone's reaction time either in driving or any other type of activity.  I'm proud of this assignment as I truly understood what I was writing about as well as I personally believe that it has been one of my best written lab reports. 

In this assignment I did a lab report on how glucose is affected by PH levels in milk. In the lab the objective was to figure out how glucose can be affected by PH levels found in milk. In the lab we figured out that different amounts of PH does cause a major change in the amount of glucose in milk. This was an important assignment in the unit as it furthermore helped us understand the importance of proteins such as lactate and lactose that are found in milk. I could have done better in this assignment if I did some changes with my research and my lab. However I think that I did a decent job on this lab report   also having in mind that  I could improve it. 

In this assignment we had to put a poster together that showed our audience how drinks could affect the human body. In order to complete this assignment we had to do prior research in order to understand how water and other types of drinks affect the body and why it does. This assignment fit into the overall unit because it was a further understanding about the urinary system and how it all combines and fits into place. After completing this assignment I learned more about the urinary system and how it could be affected by the environment as well as how we can determine if the urinary system is becoming damaged. This assignment showcases my strengths by showing how I can work collaboratively with a team as well as how well I can do research. This assignment represents important themes in this unit as it is an example of how the urinary system works and connects with other body systems. I enjoyed this assignment because it was a really fun and informative assignment that furthermore my understanding of the urinary system. This assignment connects to the larger world because it connects to a real life situation. 

In this assignment we had to create a slideshow that presented how there is prejudice in the medical field. The main objective of this assignment was to inform and teach others how there is prejudice in the medical field and how it's still a problem even today. This assignment fit the overall unit because we were able to research about the prejudice that is still present today in the medical field. After completing this assignment I learned about the struggles that many minorities go through especially when it comes up to their health and how it is found in pancreatic cancer. A thing that I found challenging when completing this assignment is being able to find the sources that I could use in order to complete this presentation. It was also challenging when it came up to finding recent search and exactly fit into my overall topic. I could improve this assignment by adding more information that could give more statistics as well as provide more information about the topic that is being discussed. 

In this assignment we did a lab report about a lab that was completed. The main objective of this assignment was to write a lab about muscle fatigue and how different emotions affect it. The assignment fit the overall unit because it was the closing assignment for the muscular system. After completing this assignment I learned about the different types of muscle fatigues and how it affects the body differently as well as being able to understand how muscle fatigue is affected. This assignment showcased my strength of being able to work together with my teammates as well as showing my strength of writing a lab report after completing a lab. Some important themes of this assignment would have to be the knowledge that I was able to learn and apply into writing this report. I enjoyed this assignment because when completing the lab it was very fun and I was able to learn a lot. 

In this assignment we had to compare and contrast two different athletes and how their bodies work differently in order to work the way it needs to for their sports. The main objective of this assignment was to create and explain how the body works in order to support an athlete with their chosen sport. This assignment fit the overall unit as it was part of the muscular system. After completing this assignment I learned about the different types of energy systems that the body uses in order to provide the body with energy. This assignment was challenging as it was difficult to find resources that supported my topic in this assignment. I could improve this assignment by being more clear and providing the audience with more detail and information on the topic that was talked in the assignment and furthermore exampling the different systems of energy that are found in the body and how they work.
