In this assignment the main purpose was to research about WW2 and the given topic. A presentation was created about the geography and the development of military strategies during WW2. This assignment fitted into the history unit because it gave a further understanding of what the military did during WW2 was occurring.Throughout this assignment I learned various new information about WW2,  I learned how the military used different strategies and how different geographical strategies were used to the advantaged by the military. This assignment is my glow because I did extremely well on this presentation, as well as actually understanding and being able to present the information on the sides. I also was able to work outstandingly with my team mates in order to make this slide show. 

The purpose of this assignment was to research and gather that information to create an essay about the Great Depression. This essay was a group essay meaning that I had other classmates to help me work on this assignment with each other us taking a section of the work. In this particular case, we had to research how the Great Depression affected Mexican Americans. This assignment fitted into the unit was we have to explore and research how different minorities were affected during the Great Depression while working with others to create a paper. This is my grow because I felt like I could've worked better with my team mates and did a better job writing my section of the paper.

In this assignment the main purpose was to create something that addresses the cornerstones of democracy as it was this year's theme. In this assignment I had the choice to create an artwork that consisted of  Superior Court of New Jersey--Essex Vicinage Law Day competition theme. This assignment fit into the unit as we were able to express our feelings of our democracy after learning the previous changes and events that led to our democracy today. This assignment was able to let us express our feelings about all the issues that are occurring throughout our country. This is my glow because I feel like I did an incredible job demonstrating how I feel about my democracy nowadays. 

In this assignment the main purpose was to explain how people used songs in order to protest the Vietnam War. Throughout the document there was analysis questions that had to be answered based on the songs that were linked onto the document. This assignment fit into the unit because the Vietnam War was a major impact of the Cold War. Throughout this assignment I learned that many people didn't support the Vietnam War and wanted the United States to not be involved with it. This is my growth because I feel like I could have done better when explaining how people used songs in order to protest the Vietnam War. I believe that I could have a deeper understanding and analysis of the songs to have a stronger point.
