Integrated Mathematics III / PreCalc

This assignment was the unit 2 test which i got a 95 on after i made corrections and clarified my anwers. I understood the concept of the questions ask, in some responses i might have not been correct in how i presented the final answer which is the reason I may have gotten points of. 

In this assignment was I not able fully understand the what question 1a specifally was asking me thats why there is such massive take away of 15 points. When it says 10 million microbes i took that literally and put 10 million into my equation. I know now that that wasnt the write step to take but would still need some work on creating equations for word problems and picking them apart.

During this assignment I soon realized that the slightest incorrection will ruin all of your work and you will not be correct until you find where you went wrong. Some questions were definetly easier than others which is why i got them correct. But the ones that were a little harder and took a bit more work i seemed to be on the right track but then a mad a decision to change something or do something to the equation that either wasnt needed or wasnt needed for the part i did it for. From this assignment Ive learned that solving systems of three equations w/ elimination takes a long time and you need to go step by step or you will get it wrong and in the time frame i was given for this assignment and the time frame i gave myself i believe my grade represents that. 

When I was first given this assignment I was very taken a back because it was a big jump from the classwork we did to this very long equation. Yes it did incorporate the elements we learned it class it was just harder in this format. I decided to work in small sections and use the exponent rules. Work in sections was easier but when it came to putting them together i received outside help to move the process along because i was compelety suck but i ended up getting to an answe that seemed reasonable to what i was being asked. 

In this test it along with everything we did in class so i had enough knowledge to be able to get a decent grade. My biggest problem with the first side was probably the value of something spefic and at a certain point. Im not sure if it is the way I presented my answers but thats where i got points off. On the log side I had a hard time focus on the log and making sure everything was in the right spot of also worrying about the exponent rules. I seem to be pretty good with condesing a log equation but expanding them seem to be where i need the most work. 

In this quiz i only go one part wrong which costed me -10 points. In the aspect of varable x there is no number so you kind of have to imaine and make sure everything that would happen to a regular numbers happens to the varable. So when you have to get rid and things or they cancel out its easier with a number because the number changes but with a varable you have to make sure its is the simplest form because its not changing. so I believe the square root would have cancelled out at some point and not been apart of the final answer.
